GRANT

The Department for Children, School & Family (DCSF) have made a commitment to provide FREE nursery education for all 3 and 4 year olds for 15 hours a week and we are registered to receive a grant from Croydon council in this respect for all eligible children. Children are eligible for the grant at the beginning of the term after their third birthday, the cut off dates for each term are detailed below:

Autumn Term - 31st August
Spring Term - 31st December
Summer Term - 31st March

Additional funding is also available for some children aged under 3 whose parents meet certain criteria relating to income and benefits. Details can be provided.

FEES

£19 per session for three year olds and £25 per session for two year olds.

This grant has now been extended to working parents of two year olds and for 30 hours for those over three. Check childcarechoices.gov.uk to see if your child is eligible.

Fees are payable termly in advance or set up to be paid monthly. Fees must still be paid if children are absent or off sick. For your child to keep her/his place at the pre-school all fees must be paid on time.

Early Years Grant

Government funding is available for children aged 3 or older for at least 15 hours per week, with a further 15 hours where both parents work, subject to eligibility criteria. To see if you are eligible for the additional 15 hours, please click here.

Applying for a place

If you are interested in applying for a place for your child at New Life Pre-school please complete and return the application form below and email it to preschool@newlifecroydon.co.uk or alternatively drop it in to the pre-school (New Life Pre-School, New Life Christian Centre, Cairo New Road, Croydon, CR0 1XP). 

You will then be invited to visit the pre-school where you will be able to see the pre-school in operation and ask any questions you have. You will be advised of what sessions we can offer for your child and details of any fees that will be owed. After this you will be asked to complete a more detailed application form for your child and then a formal offer will be made to you.
